4 Point Ah Mah Gah!

It's landed.

It's jiggly.

And it's ... possibly beautiful. I haven't decided yet.

I liked Atonement, and then I didn't, and then I did again (because it worked, and then it was buggy, and then it got fixed).

Power Word: Barrier is nifty, but I'm still trying to work out when to put it to proper use. None of the fights I've been in thus far have been conducive to its use, or if they have, then I haven't been in a position to actually do so whether due to all hell breaking loose with healing (can't spare cooldown!) or my assignment just keeping me busy elsewhere.

Archangel is nifty, but keeping my stacks up to put it to most efficient use is a bit tricky for me. I suppose my attention is only able to be split so many ways right now. I hope to get that worked into my healing with some speed, though. The wings are quite pretty. XD

I did take a gander at Holy, but what I saw there just didn't interest me.

Tree wise, I didn't feel like I had many options. There were talents I wanted, and talents I didn't want, but at several points I had no choice - I had to take talents I didn't want, just to progress further into the tree. And since we can't spend points in any other trees until we've spent at least 30 in our primary tree, it was a mostly depressing trip down "Click a Talent You Don't Like" lane. I almost felt like I was being forced to be one of those laughable players who put all of their 80 levels worth of points into a single tree... cept I was generously offered 5 points to play with in piddling low level talents in the other two trees. Half of which, one way or another, were utterly useless to me - or at least, that's how it feels in the current game.

I didn't experience problems with Heroic Saurfang. I ran out of mana moments before we downed him. During previous attempts, I'd need to pop mana potions or pull out the Shadow Fiend, but that didn't happen at all tonight.

We did get two more people the HSaur kill for the first time tonight, though, which was nice.

Healing HPrinces wasn't happening. I'm not sure how much of it was just healing with an odd combination (for us), and how much of it was simply changes to spells, abilities, and how they'd effect each character's aggro generation. I know our replacement Pally tank was taking between 64k and 85k in less than half of one second's time, and losing him several times to that was no good. Other people were getting aggro (their own fault, eventually they'll learn), which also slowed us down.

But as a Disc Priest, I felt alright. I wish I were able to use my new abilities to their fullest, but tonight was not a night to try that out apparently. I didn't have to do very much healing for most of it, given our setup, and when my new shinies were needed, there simply wasn't a chance to lay them down when the time came.
