fishing ... under the dock

So I'm tired, and bored, and I want the Giant Sewer Rat pet. I'm a collector, after all, so I'd like one.

Thus, I head into the Dalaran Sewers, plop my fishing hat on my head, pull on my Kalu'ak fishing pole, and fling my bobber into the waters.

It's really, really boring.

I remain bored for about 10 minutes (enough time for my fishing pole to lose it's fishing buff), and I'm messing around with my camera view to see if I can move it to a place that requires less mouse movement as I fish. I have my camera swivel around to look at my face, then zoom waaay out so the bobber is in view (and larger!). I make a few casts and it's working pretty well. I could probably keep my eyes closed for most of it, except when I make a new cast and the bobber moves.

Then I make a mistake. I do something and my character has turned around so the camera is once again behind me... but I haven't noticed yet, and I cast my line.

I don't see a bobber. Where's my bobber? Oh, why I've turned around.

And the game still let me cast my line. It's not out of line of sight?! What is this!

Apparently we can cast under the dock we're standing on within the Dalaran Sewers.

So I moved myself away from the edge and I've been casting toward the edge that most players stand on to do their fishing. There's no question with bobber is mine, it's the one that's under the dock (or within a few feet of it). It's kind of nifty, but also quite odd. I'm enjoying it in the mean time!
